Grandpa's 90th Birthday!

Grandpa had so much fun during his party, actually teared up a few times.. what a sweet man. Mom had a plaque made for him at the new Veterans Memorial Park in old town, it's about hip high next to where the kids are standing, it meant SO much to him. Everyone had a blast, watched the Beavs on Saturday kick butt! Go Beavs!! Now I'm just enjoying a quiet Sunday without screaming kids, with the doors open enjoying the sound of the rain.

Good things are coming up....!

Well to start off with some good news, Dave got hired as a satellite installer starting at $30,000 a year with benefits! Finally! It's a company called LinkUs and they are starting a new office here in Florence with just 5 guys. This could not have happened at a better time, good things come to people who wait. :)
It looks like this weekend is going to another bash, my grandpa is turning 90!!! And still kicking like he was in his 50's, enjoying life and his independence. Family are already starting to arrive for the party on Saturday, don't worry... I will post some pictures of the cute old guy for everyone to see on Tuesday ( Monday is a holiday!!! Woohoo!!!). Here's a picture of gramps from he and Grandma's 60th wedding anniversary from last summer... he's so funny.

Baby Hannah!

Spent the weekend with the family, it was so much fun. Jeremy brought his boat out with the skis and tubes. I didn't go in the water though, WAYYYY too cold for that. Had some vandalism happen though on Saturday night, a group of drunk kids walked out on the dock and drank out there and tipped both the jet-skis over while tied up! And get this, the stupid morons actually left one of their sandals in the water and decided to come and find them in the morning with one shoe on!! Yea, you're obvious! Dad called the sheriff and is pressing charges on the kids, fortunately we know where they were staying and have run-ins with that house before. Stupid kids....
Baby Hannah is so dang cute! I love being an aunt. :)

Rejuvenated!

This weekend went just as planned if not better! The trip to Silver Falls was great and the temp never even went over 75 degrees thank goodness. Unfortunately our camera only worked long enough to get a couple shots, oh well. We had a good time spending time with his family and just being out of town together, I hope this is a good sign for us. Dinner at the Olive Garden was just as good as every other time, even better when you can fill up on salad and bread sticks and take your dinner home for a midnight snack. mmmm! :) The picture of the waterfall does NOT give it justice, it's so huge! That little trail down below actually has tons of people on it but we were up at the top of the fall so you can't see them very well.

Ready for the Weekend!

I'm so excited for all the things planned for this weekend! Tonight with the boy and maybe some light drinking at Meagan's. Tomorrow Dave and I are going to Silver Falls for his family reunion, if you've never been... THIS is the place to go to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and go for a little hike around some of the biggest waterfalls. I'll make sure to take pictures to post on Monday. Then a free dinner planned for the Olive Garden, thanks to Laurie! mmmm... i can taste the bread sticks already. Too bad they don't have the never ending pasta bowl until fall, shucks! haha. On Sunday I'm babysitting the Salyer girls, what little angels! Should be an action packed weekend, I'm really just excited to get out of town, seems like it's been forever! Hope everyone enjoys their couple days off, let's pray for actual sun.

Brother's housewarming

We went to Corvallis last Sunday for my brother's house warming for their new house, thank goodness I live here now and don't have to deal with the sweltering heat in the summer! I got to see my little neice Hannah again, she has grown so much! she's a little movie star with those cute glasses!

My Birthday- a little late posting i know

I finally got some of the pictures from my birthday on the computer! It was way back in June but that's okay, everyone loves pictures. :)mom and i got a little bit tipsy, can you tell? great food though, and my favorite.... ice cream cake meagan helped me cut. mmmmm good

Well I'm over halfway through with my vacation and I'm so not ready to go back. We've been having some rough times at home so I'm currently staying with the folks to get some space. I tell you though, I couldn't ask for a better getaway. Waking up every morning being able to look out over the lake and seeing the stars before going to bed, not mention the great weather. Anyways, I hope everyone's summer is going well, doing the things that you want....

Well the party went REALLY well, Dave said it was definitely the best birthday he's had and that it went by WAY too fast. *Time flies when you're having fun, right?!? :) We sent up a little dining fly with lights on the strings that fasten it to the ground to make sure anyone who had a little too much to drink would be able to see those, well.... the lights didn't help. TRUST ME!! ouch! :) A good time! Now... my birthday is coming up on the 17th, time to plan another party!

Hey! Dave's birthday is tomorrow! Planning a big bash in the backyard if it doesn't plan on raining on us. Kabobs, beer, beer, and more BEER!!! :) This is his big hooray before he turns the big 30. I hope it's a good night tomorrow.

New pictures of baby Hannah! I got to hold her for the first time last week, she's only 9 lbs. and is almost 2 months old! She is so adorable!

Its been such a long time since posting, hope everyone is enjoying the spring season! I have now been at my new job for almost a month and a half and starting to really enjoy it now too. But of course, now I barely have time to do anything during the day..... like eat. :)
Anyways.... just in case anybody is interested, we are planning to mate our male dog with another doxie in the next couple months and I just wanted to let whoever know in case someone would like a puppy.

Baby Hannah!

I can't believe that this month has flown by so fast! So much to catch everyone up on! My brother Jer and wife Erin had a beautiful baby girl, Hannah Dawn Scott on the 11th. And coincidentally the same day as my other neice, sure makes that easy on my memory! :) She was adorable and of course I made sure she was stocked up in the wardrobe department, what are aunts for anyways? We spent about 30 hours waiting for the little one. I hope to see her soon again since they live in Corvallis. I hope she has the beautiful native hair like her momma.

R & R

Dave and I had such a nice relaxing weekend, we went to Newport and stayed up there for an evening. For being there less then 24 hours its hard to get in all the jacuzzi time! We were right on the ocean with a fireplace, mini kitchen..... weather wasn't all that bad but could have been better on Sunday as we were leaving. I had my fair share of the complimentary champagne, man... talk about headache. Dave was waiting on me hand and foot and now he wants to go somewhere for a week so we can really enjoy ourselves. Hello!!??!!?? are we thinking that would be a honeymoon?!?!? maybe......

Baby Noah

Baby Noah Cole Baze born 2/26 at 2:59pm weighing in at a whopping 9lbs 5.2oz with a 14" head! He is such a handsome little guy! Now Uncle Dave is practically glowing! I have pictures from right after he was born but now that his noggin has returned to the normal shape I will post the better of the pictures. I did get to finally hold him today and now the baby fever is really kicking in! Ahh!!

Off to Riverbend tomorrow to be with Casey and Lauren while they induce her. I hope Baby comes tomorrow while we're there, I'm so excited. Then Dave and I are off to our weekend in Newport, hopefully we'll be able to see the octupus feeding at the Hatfield Marine Center, they are such a strange sea creature!

I found this picture of my Brandy when she was a puppy, she looks terified doesn't she. lol. poor thing. I think she was only a month old, and now she's turned into my little "flying squirrel", which Meagan started calling her. :) Which fits her SO well, that's usually what she looks like when she jumps off the arm of the couch!!

This weekend went so nicely, hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine's day with their significant other! Dave and I made and ate tacos in front of a rose and candles then we went on a double date Saturday morning with our neighbors to the Sugar Shack in Reedsport for some donuts. mmmmm..... i know what you're thinking, Missy doesn't like donuts! very true, i know, i'm crazy but they are just too dang rich for me so I had a cinnamon roll. Dave insisted on getting a HUGE to-go box of donuts. He ate all of his throughout the day, talk about a stomach ache! :) When we got home we went out to Neptune State Park off 101, we've always wanted to stop there and walk around but the shore was up so high we were stuck walking on rocks the whole time, I about fell flat on my face! We did take Ty though, he had a blast especially without his leash. Went home and took a nap and made dinner. We hung out outside yesterday, it was so beautiful, cleaned up the front yard FINALLY and had a BBQ with the neighbors, nummy steaks!
